How did I become a Czech language teacher?
How did I start?
In 2019, while working as an intern at the Czech Centre in Stockholm, I participated in the European Day of Languages. This experience sparked my passion for teaching the Czech language. I discovered the unique and often overlooked beauty of Czech, and found immense joy in the teaching process, especially in witnessing my students' progress.
Although my professional background was in piano performance and music management, I soon realized that I looked forward to my teaching sessions more than my concerts and cultural projects. This revelation led me to pursue a new path.
I became a Czech language teacher, dedicated to helping enthusiasts learn the Czech language online. My journey as an educator began at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where I prepared foreign students for their studies in the Czech Republic and I in a language school Czech Language Training, and I have also worked with numerous private students.
When I moved to Stockholm permanently, I founded Czech School Stockholm in cooperation with Petra Lorentzon Staňková and Eva Martinicová. I also collaborated with the Czech Centre and the Czech Embassy in Stockholm to further promote the language.
Teaching Czech became my true calling, and I am happy to be a Czech language teacher, helping others discover the beauty of the Czech language.
